Map of the Armenian Genocide
Based on the Institute's base map for the Ottoman Empire, this map shows the distribution of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire subject to "deportation". The information shown on this map is based on Raymond Kevorkian and Paul Paboudjian,  Les Arméniens dans l'Empire ottoman à la veille du génocide, Paris: ARHIS, 1992.

Map of Der Zor and environs, showing the so-called resettlement zones outlined by the Ottoman authorities for Armenian deportees. The statistical information on the map is based on US consular and missionary sources working for the relief of Armenians and Assyrians.
