Editors

Vincent Lima is a historian trained at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and the New School for Social Research. He has taught at Tufts University and the University of Michigan. Before starting Armenian Forum, he edited the Armenian Review for seven years.

Lima serves as director of the Gomidas Institute. In addition, he works as a test developer. He is currently a consultant at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants through his association with Reasoning, Inc., a test-development firm. Previously, he worked at the Educational Testing Service, where he wrote, reviewed, and improved questions for the Analytical sections of the GRE® and the Critical Reasoning sections of the GMAT®.

Ara Sarafian is a historian specializing in the late Ottoman Empire and modern Turkey. He was a founding director of the Gomidas Institute, and has edited and written critical introductions to several of the institute’s publications. Now director of the Taderon Press, he is developing the Sterndale Classics imprint.

Sarafian’s wide network of European and Middle Eastern contacts helps Armenian Forum bridge the gap between Armenian scholars on both sides of the Atlantic as well as the Middle East.

Designer

Heather Townsend is a graphic designer based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has given the journal a distinct and contemporary visual identity.
