![]() Contributors to Volume 2, Number 2 Aida B. Avanessian is a partner at an Iranian law firm and a consultant on Iranian law. She received her LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Tehran and her Ph.D. from Kings College, University of London. She has been a legal advisor to the Central Bank of Iran and other government entities. She is chairwoman of the Center for Armenian Studies in Tehran. Hrayr S. Karagueuzian is a Senior Research Scientist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Professor of Medicine at UCLA. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in New York and did postdoctoral research at the University of Paris and the University of California, San Francisco. Anahid Kassabian received her Ph.D. from Stanford University. Her book, Hearing Film: Tracking Identifications in Contemporary Film Music, is due out from Routledge in the fall of 2000. Ara Oshagan is a documentary photographer involved in a string of personal and community projects. From portraits of Armenian poets and Genocide survivors to places like Gharabagh, Armenia, and the streets of Los Angeles, Oshagan is in search of an always enigmatic Armenian spirit. Currently he is working on a book with his father, writer Vahé Oshagan, on life and peace in Gharabagh. Victoria Rowe is a graduate student at the University of Toronto. Anahid M.
